Southern California Sound Ecology

Southern California Sound Ecology (SCSE), and its house band, Southern California Soundscape Ensemble, will be represented at this year’s Soundwalk 2011. Stay tuned for specific site location and details.

Acoustic Ecology in Southern California

We will have an initial meeting of the fledgling Acoustic Ecology So Cal (a potential chapter of the American Society for Acoustic Ecology) and a performance of SCSE (Southern California Soundscape Ensemble), {open}, 2226 E. 4th Street (at Junipero), Long Beach, CA, 22 January 2011, 8 PM, free.

Chris Schlarb and Jon Mueller on NPR: Viking’s Choice

Chris Schlarb (#10) and Jon Mueller (#24) are listed on Lars Gotrich’s Viking’s Choice 2010 list on NPR.  Not the slowest of lists (lots of noise and black metal), but good exposure to both friends.  Kudos!
